University of Alabama Merit Scholarships, Name List and requirements for 2019: New students who enter the scholarship deadline on December 15 will receive a qualifying degree in ACT or SAT and have a minimum of 3.5 cumulative high school grade during the first academic year. They will be eligible for the following scholarships on merit:
Coronation
Students with SAT 27 or 1260-1290 SAT and a cumulative average of 3.5 will be selected as a pilot and will receive $ 24,000 over four years ($ 6,000 per year).
collegiate
Students with a score of 28 or 1300-1320 SAT and a minimum GPA 3.5 will be assigned to a university researcher and will receive $ 32,000 over four years ($ 8,000 per year).
Excellence Foundation
A student with 29 degrees in the ACT or 1330-1350 SAT test and a minimum of 3.5 GPA will be named on the Foundation for Excellence in the Scholar and will receive $ 60,000 over four years ($ 15,000 per year).
UA Researcher
Students who have earned 30-30 degrees or 1360-1410 SAT and at least 3.5 GPA will be named UA Researcher and will receive $ 80,000 over four years ($ 20,000 per year).
